We offer innovative programs that respond to the needs of students and the evolving workplace. UOIT promotes social engagement, fosters critical thinking and integrates outcomes-based learning experiences inside and outside the classroom to the university’s 9,200 undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in more than 70 programs.

The connection between teaching and research defines the UOIT learning experience. Undergraduate and graduate research opportunities transform UOIT’s students into innovators, entrepreneurs and thought leaders.

UOIT invests in high-quality, leading-edge research, scholarship and innovation in all disciplines. To support this, UOIT has assembled a team of researchers who have come to our university from around the world. These researchers share their expertise and create new knowledge to help solve today’s public policy challenges, including a focus on advanced manufacturing, sustainable energy and the creation of smart communities.
